Ali Ercan

Chairman

Ali Ercan was born on 06.02.1986 in Konya. After completing his high school education at TED Ankara College Foundation Private High School, he graduated from University of Leicester, Department of Business Administration in 2007. After returning to Turkey, he has taken several roles both in family companies and those he owns, such as general manager, board member, vice chairperson of the board of directors and chairperson of the board of directors in fields of activity such as ceramics, tourism, mining, and trade. With his high level knowledge and experience about ceramics, granite production and financial management, Ali Ercan has served as a founding member in various non-governmental organizations. Having launched many projects in real estate development, e-commerce, construction, ceramics, tourism and industry, Ali Ercan has been serving as the chairperson of board of directors and the controlling shareholder since 28/08/2016.

Şerafettin Aşık

Board Members - General Manager

Şerafettin Aşık was born on June 19, 1970, in Çanakkale. He graduated from Osmangazi University, Department of Mechanical Engineering, in 1992. He began his career as a Production Chief at Söğüt Seramik between 1994 and 1999. He then served as Production and Frit Glaze Preparation Manager at Kütahya Seramik from 1999 to 2005. Between 2005 and 2008, he worked as Production Group Manager at Graniser Seramik, and between 2008 and 2009, he held the position of Factory Manager at Uşak Seramik. From 2009 to 2018, he continued his career as Technical General Manager at Akgün Seramik, and from 2018 to 2024, he served as Ceramic Group President at Söğütsen Seramik (Rino). Since October 2024, he has been serving as General Manager at Bien Yapı Ürünleri Sanayi Turizm ve Ticaret A.Ş., Bien Banyo Ürünleri Sanayi ve Ticaret Anonim Şirketi, and Chemicall Kimya Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş.

Hakkı Çatman

Board Members

Hakkı Çatman was born in 1988 in Bilecik. After completing his high school education at Mustafa Şeker Anadolu Lisesi, he received his bachelor’s degree from the Business Administration Department of Anadolu University, Eskişehir, in 2011. He holds a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license. Between 2009 and 2011, he worked as an Assistant Accounting Specialist at Euro Dekor A.Ş., and between 2012 and 2016, he served as an Accounting Specialist at Bien Yapı Ürünleri Turizm Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. Since 2016, he has been continuing his career at Qua Granite Hayal Yapı ve Ürün. San. Tic. A.Ş., where he serves as Deputy General Manager responsible for Financial Affairs. He also serves as a board member within the group companies of Q Yatırım Holding.

İsa İpçioğlu

İsa İpçioğlu was born in Ünye in 1969. He graduated from Karadeniz Technical University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Economics in 1992. He graduated from the Department of Business Administration with first place. Two years of research at Süleyman Demirel University as an assistant, he won a scholarship from the Ministry of National Education and was awarded a language scholarship. After his education, he studied business administration at Fairleigh Dickinson University in the United States of America. He completed his master's degree. In 2004, he received his doctorate in business administration from Dumlupınar University. He received his title. Adil Akıncı

Adil Akıncı was born in 1984 in Kütahya. He completed his undergraduate studies in 2005 at Dumlupınar University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Public Finance; his master’s degree in 2011 at Dumlupınar University, Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Business Administration, Accounting-Finance; and his PhD in 2015 at Dumlupınar University, Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Public Finance. Between 2010 and 2012, he worked in the Financial Affairs Department of GÜROK Turizm ve Madencilik A.Ş. On 19 November 2012, he was appointed as a lecturer at Kırklareli University, School of Applied Sciences, Department of Banking and Finance. In 2016, he was appointed as Assistant Professor in the same department. On 7 March 2019, he was appointed as Assistant Professor (Dr. Öğr. Üyesi) at Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Public Finance. He was awarded the title of Associate Professor on 18 September 2019 and became a Professor in 2025 at the same department. He served as Deputy Director of the Institute of Social Sciences at Kırklareli University between 2018 and 2019. He continues to serve as the Head of the Department of Public Finance Theory at Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Public Finance. In 2021, he obtained his Certified Public Accountant (SMMM) license from the Kütahya Chamber of Independent Accountants and Financial Advisors. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the Turkish Foundation for Economic and Financial Research (TEMAR). Prof. Dr. Adil Akıncı conducts research in public finance theory and fiscal economics, and has numerous international and national articles, books, book chapters, and edited volumes. He is the founder and current editor-in-chief of Ekonomi Maliye İşletme Dergisi, Aizanoi Finance Review, and Kapanaltı Dergisi. He also serves as associate editor for İdil-Ural Araştırmaları Dergisi and field editor for Maliye & Finans Yazıları Dergisi. Since 2023, he has been the coordinator of the EMIDWORLD International Economics, Finance, Business & Social Sciences Congress.

Niyazi Kurnaz

Independent Member of Board of Directors

Niyazi Kurnaz was born in 1978 in Emet, Kütahya. He completed his primary, secondary, and high school education in Tavşanlı. In 1998, he graduated from Karadeniz Technical University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Business Administration. In 1999, he began working as a Research Assistant in the Department of Business Administration, Accounting and Finance Division at Kütahya Dumlupınar University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. He received his master’s degree in 2002 from Kütahya Dumlupınar University, Institute of Social Sciences, Business Administration (Accounting and Finance), and earned his PhD in 2007 in the Business Administration program at the same institute. Between 2008 and 2014, he served as Assistant Professor and Department Chair in the School of Applied Sciences, Department of Accounting. In 2014, he began serving as Associate Professor in the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Business Administration. Since 2020, he has been a Professor in the same department, specializing in Accounting and Finance. Over the years, he has held various administrative positions at the university, including membership on executive boards, department chair and vice-chair roles, institute directorship, and founding director of a research center. Prof. Dr. Niyazi Kurnaz has published numerous articles, books, and conference papers in the fields of accounting and finance, independent auditing, internal auditing, and internal control. He currently serves as the editor of the İşletme ve Girişimcilik Araştırmaları Dergisi and serves on editorial and advisory boards of several journals in his field. He continues to serve as the Chair of the Department of Business Administration and the Chair of the Accounting and Finance Division at Kütahya Dumlupınar University, while also providing academic consultancy for the development of the university’s Internal Control System.
